Yes — browsing events and creating an account are free. Individual events may charge for tickets, set by the organiser. Free events are clearly marked.

You can browse and view events without one. To buy a ticket, volunteer or host, you'll create a free account — it takes a minute.

Organisers publish one or more ticket tiers (free or paid). When you get a ticket, it carries a unique QR code used for fast, fraud-resistant check-in at the door.

Paid tickets are processed in Nigerian naira through local payment rails — Paystack and Flutterwave — so you can pay with the cards and methods you already use.

Refunds follow the organiser's policy for each event, so check the event details before you buy. Automated in-app refunds are rolling out — until then, reach out to the organiser or our team for help.

Every ticket has a unique QR code. Organisers scan it at entry, which confirms the holder is genuine and keeps gatherings authentic and secure.

You can add emergency (ICE) contacts to your profile so trusted people are easy to reach. Live location sharing and an in-app SOS are rolling out and aren't available just yet.

Yes. Hosting is open to everyone after a quick verification step that helps keep events trustworthy for attendees.

Your organiser dashboard shows ticket sales and a live check-in view, so you can see who has arrived in real time.

On an event that's recruiting, browse the open roles, apply by the skills you bring, and track your application status. Approved volunteers get clear instructions for their role.
